The first condition for success is an in-depth understanding of the client’s needs, which allows us to produce a customized response to the language and operation needs of each task. We use the experience and knowledge we have accumulated over the years of our activity in order to carry out a detailed and comprehensive characterization of all the needs of the project, to anticipate and prepare in advance for challenges, problems and complexities that may arise in the next stages of the process. At this stage, a project manager is appointed, who is responsible for carrying out the entire process, and serves as the sole point of contact with the client. In cooperation with the client, the style and terminology requirements, the target audience, the desired language of contact and more will be defined at this stage. Accordingly, the project manager will determine the required scope of work, agree with the client on the expected schedules and more.

After understanding the customer’s needs for Ashuram, the project manager performs an initial mapping of the source materials and related materials provided by the customer, goes over them thoroughly and floods questions and clarifications as needed. The mapping of the materials allows us to build the best work process and ensure execution at the high standards to which we are committed. According to the defined needs, we assign to each task the most appropriate language and content experts, among the best in their field. We employ over 1,400 translators and hundreds of writers, editors, transcribers, technical and graphic teams, and we are able to perform any language and content task, in any language, in any professional field and anywhere in the world. At this stage, we also select and prepare the technological translation tools that will be used by us throughout the process in order to ensure consistency, uniformity and accumulation of translation memory, among them: memQ, XTM, Memsource, Trados studio and more. We are able to work with any format of the client and provide a finished product in any format that may be required.

Throughout the years of our activity, we have included our project management capabilities to the highest level, and in our ability to carry out any project, at any level of complexity and at any scope, in the best possible way, while creating a One Stop Shop solution for all the language and content needs of each client. Our engineering department is involved in every project from its inception, in order to fulfill all the technical needs required for its speedy and efficient execution, and the project manager, who supervises the execution of the entire process, is in constant contact with the client throughout. We use the most advanced translation tools as well as sophisticated management systems, in order to guarantee our customers maximum quality and efficiency, with minimum time and costs.

In each project, the project manager appoints a senior linguistic editor (Language Lead) who is responsible for all the linguistic aspects of the task. As part of his role, the linguistic editor verifies that the process is carried out in accordance with the client’s requirements, verifies that the translations are faithful to the original and accurate, ensures compliance with the style and terminology requirements defined in the characterization phase, verifies that the required language of reference is maintained, and more. Together with the project manager, the linguistic editor leads the last stage of the process, the quality control stage.

Every task we perform goes through quality control, QA and proofreading processes according to the customer’s requirements, both through our professional experts and with the help of technological control tools. We examine the totality of the verbal, linguistic, functional and graphic aspects of each task, in accordance with each platform, and in each language in which the task was performed. In application/software translation tasks, our quality control includes working with the client’s software testing scripts, in order to fully simulate the user experience and guarantee each end client, regardless of the language they speak or their location in the world, the same experience. Our quality control processes are adapted to the regulatory requirements of each destination country and meet the definitions of the international quality standards ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17100 and the GDPR standard for information security and privacy protection.
